In order to meet the most stringent strength requirements required for autoclaveable biohazard bags, an unusual film strength was needed.
Ultimately this required in-house Extrusion of polypropylene film. After many trials of various resin blends and understanding that conventional processes produced films with inconsistent crystalline structure manifesting into sometimes below specification, a solution was achieved.
Now the unique properties of an unconventional process combined with the correct resin application is opening new doors important in medical pouches, hot liquid drum liners, mushroom spawning.
